Thank you Build A Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation for helping All About Spay Neuter Inc. spay/neuter many more feral cats.
PRESS RELEASE
A generous grant from Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation was awarded to All About Spay Neuter Inc., a 501c3 non-profit corporation whose mission is to reduce the overpopulation of feral cats through TNR (trap/neuter/return). TNR is the only humane and effective method for ending homelessness and suffering for these cats and their offsping.
Since September 2004, All About Spay Neuter Inc. has spayed/neutered over 5000 cats and kittens and found safe adoptive homes for approximately 850 of theses cats and kittens. “We are so excited”, Joanne Monez, Founder and Director of All About Spay Neuter Inc. states. “Now we can expand our TNR efforts to low income and subsidized housing projects where people cannot afford to spay and neuter their feral cats. Nassau County is in dire need of help.”
The Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation is committed to making life more bearable for children, families and pets, in need of a helping paw. With the sale of each full-sized Bearemy’s Kennel Pals friend – a collection of Build-A- Bear Workshop plush dogs – one dollar is donated to domestic pets programs including local animals shelters, stray pet rescue and rehabilitation organizations, and pet education programs around the country. These funds are available to qualified non-profit organizations in the United States and Canada. Visit www.buildabear.com for more information.
